Celebrating 40 Years with the Annual Ventura 4th of July Street Fair

Celebrate with the Environmental Sustainability Division on Saturday, July 4, 2015 at Ventura’s 40th Annual 4th of July Street Fair from 10:00am to 5:00pm in beautiful Downtown Ventura. The Environmental Sustainability Division will have a booth alongside Ventura Water located on Main Street near Mission Park.

Every year the 4th of July Street Fair celebration draws in excess of 60,000 residents and visitors to the downtown area, where children and adults can enjoy live entertainment, peruse over 300 artisan booths showcasing handmade arts and crafts, and sample deliciously prepared local fare from top restaurants.

To start off the day, at 9:30am, children and adults are invited to dress up and bring their bicycles and little red wagons for the Pushem-Pullem Parade sponsored by the Ventura East Rotary Club. The parade assembles at Cemetery Park (Main & Crimea) at 9:30am for a parade down Main Street at 10:00 am.

In the “Kids Zone” located in Mission Park, children can enjoy WOW “Jump Party” inflatables and visit a Ventura City Fire Department Engine.

Admission to the 4th of July Street Fair is FREE thanks to the City of Ventura Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Partnerships and a variety of local sponsors. FREE Shuttles are also available from the Ventura County Government Center at Victoria and Telephone.
