2011 Green School Award Winners To Be Presented at City Council Meeting on Monday, November 14

Past Green School Award Winners

Environmental Sustainability and co-sponsor Agromin Premium Soil Products selected Portola Elementary School as the recipient of the fourth annual Green School Award for 2010. Portola was chosen because they have taken on the responsibility of educating students, staff and parents that “it is easy to be green.” Their recycling program raises funds for the Fifth Grade Outdoor Education Program but more importantly through a number of efforts they are modeling good citizenship in taking care of our environment.
